Terms of Use
Rules for using the career and employer workspaces.

1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Use are a legal agreement between you and ForgeLabs, a United States sole proprietorship that operates ForgeOffer (collectively, “ForgeLabs,” “ForgeOffer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing ForgeOffer, or using a ForgeOffer feature, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from the Legal Center. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use ForgeOffer for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization. Your personal career membership and an employer-organization role are separate permissions. Having one does not automatically grant the other.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old, have legal capacity to enter this agreement, and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Do not create an account for another person without authority, impersonate anyone, or use ForgeOffer after we have suspended your access unless we give written permission.
3. What ForgeOffer does—and does not do
ForgeOffer provides tools for career planning, resumes, job discovery, applications, offer preparation, coaching workflows, employer job workflows, and related recordkeeping. Features may be experimental, limited by membership, or marked as not released. ForgeOffer is not a staffing agency, employer of record, law firm, financial adviser, or guarantor of interviews, offers, hiring, compensation, or employment outcomes.
Candidate scoring or ranking is not released unless ForgeOffer expressly activates it through a separate release gate. Employers remain responsible for job-related criteria, accommodations, notices, lawful evaluation, and every consequential hiring decision. ForgeOffer does not hire, reject, or decide for an employer.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as resumes, job materials, notes, offers, interview records, job definitions, and organization content. You give ForgeLabs a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and format that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the features you request, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to upload or process the content. Employer users must not add candidate information without an appropriate notice, permission, or other lawful basis and must honor applicable access, correction, withdrawal, retention, and deletion obligations.
5. AI-assisted features
Some features use automated or generative systems to produce drafts, summaries, suggestions, questions, analyses, or market context. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You must review important output, verify facts from primary sources, and exercise independent judgment before relying on or sharing it.
AI output is not legal, tax, medical, mental-health, immigration, financial, or other licensed professional advice. Additional requirements appear in the AI Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse ForgeOffer or help another person do so. Prohibited conduct includes:
- violating law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, employment law, anti-discrimination rules, or another person's contractual rights;
- using protected characteristics or proxies for unlawful employment decisions, evading accommodations, or treating AI output as an automatic hiring decision;
- uploading malware, probing or bypassing security, scraping at scale, reverse engineering except where law permits it, overwhelming the service, or circumventing access controls;
- sending spam, deceptive outreach, fraudulent listings, or content that is threatening, exploitative, defamatory, or materially misleading;
- collecting, selling, or repurposing candidate or user data outside the disclosed purpose and lawful authority under which it was obtained.
7. Third-party services and listings
ForgeOffer may display information or links from job providers, employers, mapping services, document tools, AI providers, or other third parties. Third parties control their own services, terms, privacy practices, availability, and content. A link, listing, or integration is not an endorsement. Review the original source before applying, sharing information, paying money, or making a decision.
8. Plans, subscriptions, and promotional access
ForgeOffer currently offers Explorer, Professional tools to eligible or granted accounts, and early access to the Business Hiring workspace without public self-service paid checkout. Paid Professional and Business subscriptions, pricing, and recurring billing have not launched. If paid subscriptions are introduced, the checkout disclosure and the Subscription and Automatic-Renewal Terms will state the price, billing interval, renewal terms, cancellation method, and material restrictions before you authorize a charge.
Founder, Founders Circle, beta, complimentary, promotional, or lifetime labels may be governed by a separate written grant. A candidate plan does not by itself create an employer-organization role, and an employer role does not by itself upgrade candidate features.
9. ForgeOffer intellectual property
ForgeLabs and its licensors own ForgeOffer's software, design, branding, documentation, and other service materials, excluding your content and third-party materials. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted by implication.
10. Suspension, termination, and service changes
You may stop using ForgeOffer at any time and may request account closure. We may suspend or limit access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, address nonpayment after paid plans launch, or enforce these Terms. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue or appeal.
We may add, change, or retire features. We will not describe an unreleased feature as available. Material changes that affect an active paid subscription will be handled under the subscription terms and applicable law.
11. Disclaimers and limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeOffer is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or a particular employment result. We do not exclude warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeLabs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits, data, or goodwill. ForgeLabs' aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid ForgeLabs for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. We will change the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. Questions or legal notices may be sent to founder@getforgeoffer.com. Mandatory rights available where you live remain unaffected.
